   I've been posting daily Thoughts for the Day in a poetry-like multi-line format rather than blocks of paragraph text. I've read the Formatting Poetry support page and I'm comfortable with how my posts appear on my blog, but I notice that the email notifications for subscribers to my blog don't don't seem to display line breaks - neither hard returns or soft returns.

   Does anyone have any idea if it's possible to display line break formatting in the blog subscription email notifications?

   You will probably have to talk with staff directly about that at http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ .

   Unfortunately, the email simply displays a post excerpt with all HTML tags stripped out, including line breaks. Currently, there is no way to change this.
