Former child star blogs

  1. Hello folks. I've started a blog which is about me trying to revive my career as an actress. I guess it just shows the world what happens when child actors get older and can't find work. Macauley Culkin, eat your heart out. I'm new to this whole blog thing though, so be kind. You're free to comment also.

  2. So....are you a former child star? I was always fond of former child prophet Marjoe Gortner - who later in life renounced his prophetic capabilities and went on to fight alongside Sir David of Hasselhoff with a light saber in the epic (and campy) space flick "Star Crash."

He also starred in Falcon Crest - but for my money his best other claim to fame was fighting giant mutated chickens, wasps, and rats in "The Food of the Gods."

  3. Haha, I don't believe I've heard of that person before. And yes, I am a former child star, but for obvious reasons I've changed some names in the blog. Don't wanna get sued (or lose any friends).

  4. So....who the heck were you? Let me guess....Vicki from Small Wonder? Or perhaps that girl Jennie something or other that was in the 1980's TV version of "The Secret Garden" that I used to have a crush on when I was 8?

Can you at least give us a hint? I actually stopped over to check out and wasn't sure who I was talking to.

About Marjoe Gortner - don't look into him unless you like cheesy, campy films. I happen to, so he's tolerable to me, but if you prefer actual quality acting than you will be grossly disappointed. "Star Crash" in particular is border line unwatchable even for me.

  5. I'm holding out for Winnie Cooper from the Wonder Years....

  6. Mickey from the Mouseketeers has a really awesome blog, actually. As does Billy Mumy.

  7. I'm just hoping this isn't one of the ubiquitous Culkin clan. :)

  8. My mama said I was a star, too.

  9. I have sworn myself to secrecy, I'm afraid. For the time being, anyway. But if you're somewhere other than the UK chances are you wouldn't have heard of me anyway. Story of my life really. So no, kstafford, certainly not a Culkin. Lol. Mind you that is a surname that won't be forgotten any time soon. Although I don't know whether that would help or hinder my career. Honestly I don't.

  10. I'm a kid, I feel innocent in this harsh game --
that we simply called life --
that we can't refuse to play.

    I'm a star, sometimes I feel high.
    Unreachable to any unwinged man,
    But I shine for everyone.
