Foward to Specific WP Page

  1. http://www.halfpast11.com
    http://www.halfpast11.com/rsvp

My fiancee and I are sending out invitations with separate response cards: online and traditional. Using our WP blog, I setup a password protected page where friends and family can enter a customized code in order to RSVP. On the invitations, I directed our guests to 'rsvp.halfpast11.com' thinking that I could setup a subdomain and simply forward it from there.

    Didn't work.

My hosting forwarded the subdomain to the folder that was created, "/rsvp" which doesn't contain anything.

My question: I was wondering if anyone knew of what needed to be done or configured in order to have guests visit "rsvp.halfpast11.com" and arrive at "www.halfpast11.com/rsvp" (WP page)

I use GoDaddy and tried to get some sort of help from them but I'm not sure if they know what they are talking about. They instructed me to setup a new A Record which would point the host 'rsvp' to my site's IP. Isn't working.

    Help? :-)
