Would love to have a trial of a premium theme with videopress and custom design - I would like to see if I can build a site I really like with all your tools and if I do, I'm happy to pay for them, but I really don't want to pay before I know if I will like what I see.
Do you offer free trials for this kind of thing???

There are no free trial rides here. However, WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all of our upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. You can request a refund yourself directly from the Store section of your Dashboard
