Fresh & Clean Posts

  1. The template sample for the Fresh & Clean template has three large images on the main page. How do I do that? In the Add New Post I don't have access to "format". Is the ability to do this after we upgrade the custom design? ~ thank you, Angela.

  2. Hi there,
Before you purchase any upgrades at all I suggest you get to know how the theme is designed to function. CSS editing cannot be used to change the way any theme functions. It can only be used to change appearance.

The post slider appears on the front page if and only if you set featured images of the size required by the theme and mark them as sticky posts. Featured Image at least 840 pixels wide.

The post slider on the Fresh and Clean theme is not designed to automatically advance. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/post-slider/

The Fresh and Clean theme is designed to display excerpts only on the front page and there is a workaround you can use to override that. The theme has an active excerpt box below the editor. You compose your whole post first but before you publish it you switch to the HTML editor, copy the code, paste it into the Excerpt box, and then publish the post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/excerpts/#creating-excerpts

  3. OH MY GOSH! Thank you so much... it worked (and you got back to me so quickly)! I was so lost for so long... hours - I can't express how excited I am now!

  4. I was happy to help. You're welcome and best wishes with your blogging.
