Fresh & Clean - sticky post excerpt

  1. The excerpt of sticky post should be in transparent background:
    http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/fresh-and-clean/
But when I activate the theme on, the background became solid black and blocked half of the featured image.
Is there anything I can do to reset this?
    Thanks!

I'm seeing transparent excerpts. What browser and version are you using?

  4. @panaghiotisadam
I am seeing gray colored transparent/translucent overlays using Firefox 9.0.1. Perhaps amoneyhk expected they would actually be clear and not colored.

I'm getting black excepts on the sticky posts with various versions of IE.

  6. Thank you all, I believe it's the problem of browser.
The excerpts are displayed with grey background on Firefox & Chrome, but not IE. :(

I just fired up Firefox and see what you mean. I also noticed that the Featured Image for non-sticky posts have rounded corners in Firefox but square corners in IE.

Any chance we can see a fix for IE since there are so many IE users out there?

I love this theme for so many reasons. I'd love to stick with it.

  8. I want to switch to this post. I can't figure out how to make the Sticky posts in Windows Live Writer. I can not find the public section.

Also how does once change the width?

  9. @luvwhatyoudo: I couldn't find any such setting on WLW, so I assume that you must use the WordPress.com dashboard to switch your post's visibility to "Sticky".

This topic is about sticky posts. In regards to the width, could you please create a separate forum topic? And please clarify which width you are talking about (the content, the sidebar, etc.)

  10. On WordPress how do I create a sticky post?
