Front page

  1. I can't change the text displaying at the top of my front page. I've tried changing it by going to general settings and entering a new site title, but the new title I entered doesn't display as text on my home page. What am I doing wrong?

The blog I need help with is leighgiza.wordpress.com.

  2. 1. What do you want the title to be? I see it now says "Leigh Giza" with no tag line.
    2. Are you scrolling down to save the changes?

  3. I would like the title of my blog to be 51WPM, not Leigh Giza. I have tried changing it and yes, I have saved the changes, but to no avail.

  4. What you're doing wrong is you're trying to change it in Settings > General while the currently displayed title is a header image you have uploaded:
    http://leighgiza.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/leighgiza2.png

  5. Thanks, justpi! Now, how do I go about changing a header image?

  6. You change it (or remove it) in Appearance > Header.

  7. On my dashboard I bring up the customize settings options, clicked on Header, and saw three different headers that were uploaded by the man who helped me set up the blog. I removed the header,so it's gone. How do I upload a new one to take the place of the one I removed?

  8. Appearance > Header
