Front page layout is messed up

  1. Hi guys,

On my main page, the layout of the blog got messed up, some content got pushed to the side where the usual right-bar supposed to go.

And that makes the right-bar got pushed down below.

Is there a way to fix it?

The blog I need help with is rapd.wordpress.com.

  2. Maybe. Which blog are we talking about? We always need a link to it, starting with http. And have you looked through the forum for threads about this? It's quite a common problem.

  3. Ah, I forgot to paste the URL: http://rapd.wordpress.com/

I'm reading the forum right now =)

  4. You have some messed up code in one of your posts.

Go to settings > writing and select "WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically" and then click "save changes."

Now, starting with your latest post, open it in the editor, make one minor change such as adding a space and then deleting it, and then click "update post." Check your blog and if it is back to normal, you are golden. If not, open the next post and do the same thing till it goes back to normal.

  5. Thanks for the reply.

I was about to post this thread:

He gave exactly the same answer as you, thesacredpath.

I'm currently re-saving my contents right now.

  6. You're welcome. That is the standard fix for this sort of issue and it virtually always works. It will also keep it from happening in the future.

  7. Found it! Thanks guys!
