   Could you tell me how I can keep my first post or front page permanently up there when people visit the site? When I write a new post it takes first position but I have an introduction page that I want to be up when people first visit.

   You can also use the Vigilance theme: it has an Alert box which does something like this.

   Alert box (under different names) also in iNove, Titan, Inuit Types.
