  1. how to show the whole content of a post on my front page. At the moment only a small excerpt of the post is shown and I have tried vigorously to change this with no luck! I am using the theme forver...is it anything to do with this?

    Thanks,

The blog I need help with is osterleyparkweddings.wordpress.com.

  2. I do that on my WP site. I'm using a theme that supports customized menus. I point the menu item to a blog post and give it its own label.
    If you enter http://israeltours.wordpress.com/hiking or
go to my site and click on Hiking it goes to http://israeltours.wordpress.com/2011/12/08/hiking-israel/

  3. Yes I can see the full content of what you have written in all your blogs without pressing 'continue reading' at any point. However, I cannot seem to figure out how to do that on my own. I'm using a free theme and it may not support customized menus prehaps?

This has nothing to do with custom menus. Do not insert "the more tag" into your posts and you will have full posts on the front page of your blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/
Edit your posts and remove "the more tag". To edit posts go to > Dashboard > Posts > All Posts and hover over the post title then click "edit". http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/
