My goal for the blog is two fold: to show how much out of pocket costs really are for a cancer survivor and to comment on pending health care reform, with a special emphasis on issues of interest to women such as breast cancer, lymphedema, genetic testing and health equity.
The blog also has an evolving reading list and two weekly features: On Thursdays: a health care quote of the week and on Fridays: a total of the weekly expenses I've incurred.
