Full width featured image on moblie device

    Hi All,

I have a blog and every post has a featured image. That image can be landscape and it can be portrait.

I use dynamic images. I have "the_post_thumbnail" set to medium which is in my case a maximum width or height of 300 pixels. I use the free theme MyStyle but it is customized.

Next to image I have my text which breaks when the text is longer than the height of the image.

On a mobile device such as an iphone or a small samsung landscape images are full width but portrait images are not. Which enables WordPress to use the small amount of space next to the image to show some text. That looks like total crap, mostly you get a few letters below eachother.

I have searched and tried but without success. I hope someone can help me out.

    Thanks
