Is this just for pages, or is there a way to make the home page full width? If the latter, then I can't see how.

a) Full width template normally means no sidebar, but Imbalance 2 doesn't have a sidebar anyway.
b) WP uses the term template for static pages only (available options selected in the Page Attributes module of the page editor). Similar options for dynamic pages are called layouts, not templates (selected in Appearance > Theme Options).
Dynamic pages in Imbalance 2 are divided in narrow columns of equal width. The content of a static page occupies columns 2-4 (default template) or 1-4 (full-width template). The distinction doesn't apply to dynamic pages.
For dynamic pages, the available options are fixed layout (4 columns) or fluid layout (as many columns as can fit in your browser window).
Ah, that makes sense. Many thanks, Panos. :)
You're welcome!
