get current url

  1. How to get a current url? I tried such:
    "><img src=http://dev.tribine.lv/img/add_tribine.gif border=0>

    but it didnt worked.

  2. I tried using the_permalink(), but it didnt work.

  3. Huh?

What are you trying to "get the current URL" for?

I can give you lots of "current URLs" but the likelihood is that none of them will be what you're looking for. Please, provide a little more information and we'll be able to help.

  4. You'll need to ask over at http://www.wordpress.org . This forum is for WP-MU hosted users, which do not have PHP access capabilities.

  5. Oh...I was wondering about the PHP...thanks!

  6. <img src=http://dev.tribine.lv/img/add_tribine.gif border=0>

so instead of xxx there would be a current url (current blog article).
This is meant for if the user reads an article then he sees this image (button) and when clicking on it he is navigated to that ../addArticle.php with parametr 'link' which is that page he was reading.

  7. a href="http://dev.tribine.lv/addArticle.php?link=xxx"
    img src=http://dev.tribine.lv/img/add_tribine.gif border=0
    /a

  8. Ex20 - you need to be asking at http://www.wordpress.org, we can't help you.
