When you land on my page at natehoff.com you see my blog post overview with word descriptions only. In the Grisailles demo, they display picture previews on the landing page. Is this a setting that I have not figured out? How can you have pic and vid show up on the main landing page of your blog? Please help if you can - it is much appreciated.

Thanks. Maybe I stated it incorrectly. I want the pictures and videos to show up in the landing page http://natehoff.com/ so when you land on the page you see the pics and vids from the post as shown in this preview http://grisailledemo.wordpress.com/ As you can see when you see the post preview you can see the pictures and other items that are in the post. I just want to know how I can make my blog show the same. Thanks!
On a theme that has an active excerpt box below the post editor, you can control the length of the excerpt displayed. Below is the workaround you can use to override excerpt display on the front page. Note: This will have to be done on every post.
When creating a post or page on your WordPress.com blog, you have two editing modes available to you: Visual Editor and Text Editor (HTML).
You compose your whole post first in the Visual editor and before you publish it you switch to the HTML (Text) editor, copy all the code you find there, paste it into the Excerpt box, and publish the post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/excerpts/#creating-excerpts
This I understand. Unfortunately I do not want just text showing up in my post preview. I would like for the pictures and video to show up also. Is this a premium feature? If so where do I buy it? I am close to launching my blog and I just want to get started. Just like on Matt's blog http://ma.tt/ you can see his posts on that landing page are unique and interesting. I just need to know how to make the posts look like the demo or Matt's - let me know if I need to buy this and I surely will! Thanks

You can do that if you can code. Note the workaround I posted above. The excerpt box accepts HTML so post your video and image codes into it. No there is no premium feature that does this automatically.
