Get rid of image border in 'my life' theme

    As the tittle said, I'm trying to get rid of texture image borders in "my life" theme. I just need one picture on my front page to be free of this thing, the rest doesn't matter; so basically I hope there's a code I can add in the HTML editor for one single image. I've tried the
    <img style="border: none;" alt="Candy Apple Scraps" src="http://" width="170" /><br /> <img style="border: 0pt;" alt="Candy Apple Scraps" src="http://" width="170" />
    None worked. Can anyone help?

    The blog I need help with is thethornsoftheroses.wordpress.com.

  2. This code you have above works for me via Firebug on your site.

    <img style="border: none;" alt="Candy Apple Scraps" src="http://" width="170" />

    What browser (and version) are you viewing the site with?

  3. Here is the actual code for the image on your main page from firebug with the "style" declaration at the end of the code. Firebug shows it at the end, but typically it works if you put it after the class="aligncenter" stuff between the img and src.

    <img width="470" height="649" class="aligncenter wp-image-9206" alt="banner-blue" src="http://thethornsoftheroses.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/banner-blue.png?w=470&h=649" style="border:none;">

    I'm using firefox 19.0.2 and google chrome 23.0.1271.97
    I remember I used one of the code before on my test blog (which I've deleted), it worked but it was a solid green border, this one is a texture one so I don't know if it would need another code.

  5. Oh, oh, oh! I thought the textured background was in the image itself. Sorry, I should have looked closer. Do the following adding the border none and background none to your image code:

    <img width="470" height="649" class="aligncenter wp-image-9206" alt="banner-blue" src="http://thethornsoftheroses.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/banner-blue.png?w=470&h=649" style="border:none; background: none;">

    Thank you, I copied and pasted exactly that and it turns to

    <img class="aligncenter wp-image-9206" style="border:none;" alt="banner-blue" src="http://thethornsoftheroses.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/banner-blue.png?w=470&h=649" width="470" height="649" />
    And still didn't work, even with Internet explore.
