For some reason I ahave advertisements that show up on my blog in the form of a You Tube video when I am looking at the replies. How do I get rid of them. The videos are crude and cheapen my blog.

You can check out the no ads upgrade mentioned above. It will get rid of all advertisements on your site.
The advertisements are NOT only run in limited places, but actually in the posts themselves. I am concerned because my middle schoolers are the ones making comments on the posts, and I do not want them clicking on something like this by mistake.
Of course we cannot pay for any upgrade, but if that is required we will probably have to move our blog again to remain free.
And we were really getting a lot of traffic and love this otherwise.

You don't really have many options: pay for the upgrade, leave WP.com for some site that doesn't host ads, or tolerate the ads. Moving means losing your URL.
