   I've found a couple of charming gifs that bring a smile to animal owners, and I've reblogged from others. 100% of them (okay, n=2) don't animate on my blog. Why? Because, say the experts here, they are changed in pixel size to fit a different theme than where they originated. And, if you change a gif's size, it no longer animates.
   I'd like a preference to be able to prevent this change; 2nd best: a way to resize it once it's in my blog.

   The blog I need help with is alt4animals.wordpress.com.

   Because they get resized to your theme, which is probably narrower than the original. You can google for Gif Resizers, there are a lot online, or you can get a wider theme if you reblog a lot of GIFs.
