  1. how do i add a giveaway link from another site to the blog with a code

The blog I need help with is rbg0284.wordpress.com.

  2. Are your referring to creating something like a
"grab my button badge"? You create and image of your own design and you determine the criteria for the award.

If you'd like to design an award badge to display in a widget follow the steps here http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/image-widget/

If you'd like to design an award badge to display a page or post you can follow the steps http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/

If you already have your image created then you can use this grab my button generator for those of us who have free hosted WordPress.com blogs. http://www.mycoolrealm.com/sandbox/gbgen/

  3. This is the guide for creating links in posts and pages: http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/
This is the general link model:
    <a href="URL HERE">Highlighted anchor text here</a>
This is the visual result - it's not really linked here on the forum.
    Highlighted anchor text here

Enter the anchor text you want to link to first.
Then use your mouse to highlight that anchor text. (If you don't highlight the anchor text the chain icon will remain grayed out and not be useable.)
Next click the chain icon in the editor and proceed to create the link.

  4. no, like if i were to create a giveaway from http://www.giveawaytools.com

i want to do that.. i don't know how to add that html in my page

  5. See the general link model I posted above.

    <a href=" http://www.giveawaytools.com">Giveaway</a>

    result: Giveaway

  6. right.. but the giveaway let's just say... i created one just to try it out.. here's code..

    <div id="pgt379369387pgt" class="pgtContainpgt">Entry<script type="text/javascript" src="//giveawaytools.com/wid/embed.php?sk=379369387"></script>-Form</div>

    how do i use that?

  7. Rats! I wish you had just posted that code in the first place because we ended up wasting your time. You can't us any JavaScript here at all. This is a multiuser blogging platform. Our blogs share a common architecture and no blogger posted JavaScript will be operational. The software will strip the code out to provide security and stability on this platform. Innaddition we cannot use form codes either.
