glitch: text appears out of place on image background of the blog page

    There’s a glitch on my blog page: text appears completely out of place, across the background image. Odd. I don’t know how to address the issue….Here’s the link to the problem page: http://nechakoblog.wordpress.com/blog/

    I see it. That’s weird and weirder still is that I cannot connect to the blog page at all. I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

    Switch the editor to “Text” and delete all the stuff that starts with this:
    <div id="stcpDiv" style="position:absolute;top:-1999px;left:-1988px;">

    Where did you copypaste the content from?

    Hello Justpi – thank you very much for your guidance — I’ll look for the html and see if that works. You’re right – I copypasted a Greenpeace photograph from another website I’d created but hadn’t made public: I wondered if that might not be the culprit.     Hello Justpi, you genius: How on earth did you figure that out? Yes, there was a paragraph that should not have been in the ‘edit’ version of the Paper City page, so I found the html and deleted the whole thing. It worked. Wow – that’s brilliant of you :).     How did I figure it out? Well (despite timethief’s ridiculous antics), I happen to be one of the most experienced members: when I see what I saw on your page I know what it can be, and I used Firebug to inspect it so I could quickly find where it is.
    In the future make sure you never copypaste from other sources into the Visual editor. When you need to paste, paste into the Text editor.
