GoDaddy Domain name, WordPress & Wix. HELP!

  1. Here is my issue....

I have a WordPress blog. (it is NOT shawncote.wprdpress.com)
I have a GoDaddy domain that the blog is attached to: thefatgirl.net
    I built a Wix website.
I want Wix to point to where the blog is (and it is): the fat girl.net
Website is published but not showing....why?

Apparently I have to undo the attachment to the wordpress blog......and if I do it wrong thefatgirl.net will experience an error until the end of time.

Anyone? I'm running out of time... :(

The blog I need help with is shawncote.wordpress.com.

  2. Does anyone know how I can find the original WordPress URL before I changed to thefatgirl.net the domain name?

  3. Note: Creating duplicate threads is not a wise thing to do. When we create a support ticket by contacting Staff by using the contact link http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ or by flagging a thread here in the forums for their assistance it’s important to understand they have a backlog.

They deal with the support tickets and threads with the earliest dates first. So if we contact them more than once on the same issue or bump threads or create duplicate threads the date moves forward and it takes longer to get help.

Return to the thread that's tagged for Staff attention please http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/domain-mapping-help-asap-please?replies=12#post-1108464

  4. I didn't realize it had been tagged for staff - my apologies.
Frustration has set in and I'd just like to figure it out.....
    I appreciate the advice/assistance.

  5. I don't get it today. The world was supposed to end on the 21st, not the 31st. It didn't, so why are people so fired up and without patience?

Do they not realize it's a Holiday and most Staff is off until at least Wednesday?

  6. I'm not without patience - but by the time I get to the support forum, I have exhausted all other options in my attempt NOT to bother others during the holidays.

I apologize for being a pain - but this is a forum, correct?

Perspective is everything - and I'm just appreciative there is a forum at all. Never meant to step on toes. :)

Things have chnaged a lot over the course of these last two years on thses support forums. It's crazy like this almost every long weekend and over the course of this last year it's also nuts on ordinary weekends too. As for me, I would not recommend purchasing any upgrade on a weekend or on a Holiday, nor would I take the risk of doing anything that may require Staff help during any time frame other than week days prime time for business in North America.
