Google Search: Only Home Page of Website Appears In Searches, Not Posts

  1. If anyone can be of help, I've scoured previous forums and none answers my problem. My webpage is registered with Google. If you type in "Spiked Sweet Shoppe" with the quotations, it provides a link to my homepage. This is proof that my website IS registered with Google.
But, I've been putting posts up for almost a month (since October 5th), and yes, I hit Public, and yes, I add tags (less than 11), etc, etc.
In my STATS area, it shows that people have used those tags to look at my posts via Bing and Yahoo, but zero from Google Search.
I have tried looking up the posts myself with all those tags (and trying to include my webpage name) and NONE of my posts show up on Google, just my homepage.
Any suggestions to add my posts to the Google search engine? Other search engines are bringing traffic to my posts just fine.
My question differs from past ones because:
    1) My webpage is registered with Google. I have the Webmaster Tools for it and included the hidden Google Webmasters code on my WordPress site for recognization
    2) I have incorporated all the SEO tips of both WordPress and Google Webmaster tools, including using links connecting different posts and links from external websites connecting to those posts
    3) My posts are not new. Other people varied in their comments, saying Google may take 30 min or a few days, etc, etc to appear on Google Search. Some of my posts are 3 weeks old, and I still cannot find them on Google Search.
If anyone can be of help, I would appreciate it so much! Thank you!

The blog I need help with is spikedsweetshoppe.com.

  2. It takes weeks for search engines to index content in a new blog and/or to re-index content under a new URL. What attracts search engines is unique content the cannot in posts that cannot be found anywhere else on the internet. Make sure you are publishing original content posts frequently ie. two or even three times weekly. For more information read > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/01/21/omg-i-cant-find-my-blog-on-google/

Lastly note that we cannot assist with search engine issues. They are between the blogger and the search engine. http://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/

  3. sorry - replace "unique content the cannot in posts" with "unique content in posts"

  4. Hello emeraldcityrestaurants
I checked you site it has not any backlinks .
If you don't have any backlinks google assumes that your site is not important as nobody links to it so why do google bother to index it.

Make a few backlinks even if it is low quality. And install
    Wordfence
this plugin will let you know when and google bot came to your site

  5. Pay no attention to @siriusxxxyyy - they are wasting your time with some junk you can't use here -

@emeraldcityrestaurants - there is another thread here on the Google issue - Google seems to be having real trouble indexing WordPress.COM sites that have domain mapping - Google also is not crawling mapped domains or at a very low rate compared to a few weeks ago - the Google page load time is also very high

The staff is aware of the issue and trying to solve the problem

  6. Please see this thread - (the link goes to the middle so read a bit both directions

  7. Thank you so much folks for the recommendations! I will check out the links and other forum, I appreciate the help!
