Google Search result does not link to a specific post

    Hi there,

I'm just wondering something. If I Google the exact title of a post on my blog, such as 'I hate Onswipe', my blog is returned pretty high in the results. However, the link directs to the main page of my blog- and not directly to the post in question that Google displays a brief summary for.

Is this a limitation of Google's indexing? For another of my posts, it links directly to the post it refers to. Is this something that improves as Google update their index over time?
Not a huge issue, but just wondering.
    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is theartofhating.wordpress.com.

  2. Onswipe was been disabled on WordPress.com blogs as of October 2012. http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/the-onswipe-ipad-theme-is-no-longer-available?replies=1

There is a mobile theme setting on every free hosted WordPress.com blog you can enable here > Appearance > Mobile

That being said, if you are using a responsive width theme then don't enable it. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/responsive-width/

Responsive width means the layout adapts depending on the size of the device being used to view your site. When responsive width themes are viewed on mobiles sidebars appear below the posts in order to provide as much space as possible for reading.

Lastly all search engine indexing issue are between the blogger and the search engine. http://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/
