Granting new users access

I went through the steps I’m meant to in order to add a user. I clicked on the email saying “are you sure you want to add ‘x’ ?” I have clicked yet several times on this, yet on the list of users there is only one user there: mine.
Why has this not worked? is there a delay to this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The person has to reply to your email, and accept the invite.. so it’s not ‘instantaneous’.. unless you know they have so that would be strange…

Sorry I wasn’t clear. The invitee has done all this. I’ve received the email asking me to confirm the adding of this person as a user, I clicked YES but they have still not been added.

Is the invitee a ‘wordpresser’? It can sometimes be confusing that they have to join wordpress.. but can also do so without creating their own blog.

They had to create a new wordpress account, yes. But they did that (step 1, as stated in the advice I read before hand) and clicked successfully on ‘accept invitation’ (step 2).
I then received an email and was asked ‘Are you sure you want to add this person’. I clicked YES. I’ve done this several times now and nothing has happened.

I guess a mod will have to check this out..
All I can add is that, when I’ve sent one it confused me similar to yourself.. and the same as you’ve outlined.
The only thing that worked was…
1: I got my invitee to do is ‘join wordpress’ first, stay logged in there, and go back to original email invite, and click ‘accept invite’ again. Then it worked. -
Yeah. Doesn’t look like this has happened for us :( Thanks for chatting. How do I get the attention of a mod?
