hi... i just made a wordpress blog and everything is awesome, im just having one problem, with the gravatar and at this point its becoming a time consuming burden as ive been messing with it for over an hour, i have 3 images uploaded to gravatar for my personal profile and none of them are taking.
The blog I need help with is swordofmessiah.wordpress.com.
When you say "none of them are taking", do you mean they are not loading? It does take a few minutes for them to load into your site.
I know exactly what you mean, I have the same problem.
It relates to the thumbnail here, mine seems stuck on the "Green" box, when I have clicked and ticked everything I thought needed to have my thumbnail pic take.....

Do take note that it takes time for gravatars/avatars to display. This is NOT an instantaneous process. By continuing to upload images over and over again you are creating an even longer delay. Below are the best practices for successfully uploading your Gravatar, Avatar and/or Blavatar imagea. Please read the information very carefully.
(1) Choose an image that does not have any transparency in it and scales both up and down in size without losing definition. Prepare the image prior to uploading it and make sure it’s 512 x 512 pixels or larger so it will look the best in the widest range of uses.
(2) The image filetype has to be either PNG, GIF or JPG. Make sure the file name contains only letters and numbers – no special characters – and make sure all letters are in lowercase.
(3) Also make sure the image file name has an extension (Example – image.jpg)
(4) Note that there is a time delay while your gravatar image propagates. If you are experiencing problems then go to the gravatar site and read the FAQs as it contains common questions and answers to them

ive loaded 3 to gravatar and as of today none of them are showing on the gravatar site i selected one. their all JPEG files there shouldnt be any problem. I just logged in for today im gonna check it out again.

this is from yesterday and i deleted one,, it shouldnt have a problem with small avatars it shows in my profile but not on my posts. how long of a process is it.. this is going on 2 days...and i havent uploaded any images today i uploaded 3 all at one time.
The delay can be 3 - 4 days.

Please read the support documentation Gravatars as they are not meant to display on posts. They display on comments. Moreover, they only display if the blog in question is gravatar enabled, and if the blogger chooses to set them up to display. > Settings > Discussion scroll down to > Avatars
