Growing Blogs

  1. How does the 'Growing Blogs' feature work? I found that showing up on my Blog Stats page, and it turns out my blog is No. 71 there. I have seen increased traffic, but what would be considered enough to get onto this list? Furthermore it has stayed there for at least 3 weeks now with no change; there have been ups and downs in my hits. Wouldn't that change its position?

  2. Hi Christina,
If you check the forum search box I think you will find that the way Top Blogs, Top Posts and Growing Blogs are determined is a close kept secret so as to prevent gaming the system. http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=3237&page&replies=41#post-21837

  3. My theory is that it's the blogs with the highest rate of increase of readership, but it's only an estimate. So a small blog that's doubling readership has the advantage over a big blog that's gaining the same number of readers at the same time.
