Hacker alert

  1. Someone has hacked into my account and created a new blog. When I try to delete it, I don't receive an email indicating that the site should be deleted. There was another blog created, that I WAS able to delete - I received a confirmation email asking me to click on the link to confirm. However, with this blog, I was not.

The problem site is http://mrsmonizdotcom.wordpress.com/. I have a few blogs on my account, but this one is one that I did not create.
    Blog url: http://mrsmonizdotcom.wordpress.com/

  2. Go here > Users > All Users and delete any user that does not belong there.

Disable post by email > http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-by-email/
Go to your email program and change the password now to a very difficult one

Change your blog password to a very difficult one > http://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/#change-your-password

You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.
Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.
Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.

  3. Thank you for your quick reply, but this did not help. I only have one email address listed on both address settings. There are no unwanted users listed on my account. I've changed my email address password and my WordPress account password. "Post by email/voice" were not enabled to begin with, but I disabled them anyway.

Is there anything else that can help?

  4. Nevermind, it seems that the blog was somehow deleted on its own. Thanks again for your help!
