Blogs here are quite safe from crackers, but they are only as safe as your password.

YOU are the last line of defense. If you have a weak password then you are in jeopardy if someone tried to hack into your blog. Always make sure you have a very strong password including upper and lower case, numbers and symbols. Basically if you can remember it, it isn't strong enough.

There was a case where a kid left himself signed into his blog and went for a shower or something, and his girlfriend read the blog. That's not hacking; that's human stupidity. But it does happen.
