Since I changed my theme to DePo Masthead I have a problem with the fact that I have an About-2 page instead of About. The About-page is displayed in the left footer-sidebar, and the About-2-page is not.
I don't have the old About-page in the trash-can anymore and it is not possible to change the name of the new About-2 page to About.
What can I do?

Hi. When I go to http://miepsatelier.wordpress.com/about/ , it redirects me to ../about-2/. Did you rename /about/ to /about-2/? Or you are saying that happened by itself when you switched themes?
If it really bothers you to have the page called /about-2/, you can try changing the name from /about-2/ to /about/ in 24-48 hours, depending on how long it takes for the database to update.
I don't know how this happend, I didn't rename the name to about-2, at least I don't remember it :-). But I did change themes a lot until I found one that did everything I want.
And the about-2-page was no problem with other themes than DePo Masthead, but because of the use of the about-page in the footer in DePo Masthead I would like to change it.
I tried a couple of times to edit the name (of the permalink) "about-2" to "about". But this doesn't work. When I hit the update-button to actually do the update, the new name "about" is replaced again by "about-2".
May be the about-page still exists, although I don't see it.
Do you say that I can try to update again after 24-48 hours?
