Have so much to write and post!!!

  1. This is not truly a suggestion but an observation.

    I like to write and so I post a lot, but doing that means that each post gets archived more quickly and less likely to be seen by a casual viewing public.

    This might be the opposite problem of those who tell me that they cannot think of new things to write about, or post.....

    If I follow my instincts, nobody will see my posts if they don't visit often, or they will see one in every five.

    Ok, I have gotten that off my chest.

    @lornaskismet,

    That's not necessarily so. If you write something that has the right combination of keywords, thousands of casual users will land on your posts.

    I have three posts which consistently get the most hits, yet they're all more than a year old.

  6. show off :P

    i don't get too many hits without self-promotion

  7. Hi lornakismet,

    I face the same problem.

    Solution: as mentioned above, leave it to the search engines OR Use pages OR Have your recent post, most viewed post, recent comments and all other navigation bar on top of everything (I mean, give it better visibility, may be in the right or left according to your theme).

    In fact I have 30 posts of which I have only published 16 and rest of the 14 is in my draft,sleeping :(

  8. Trying expanding your front page to allow like 15 posts. This way, they will stay on your front page longer.
