Is it not possible to get two columns on each blog post using the Custom CSS editor or something?
All the advice I've found seems to point to plugins, but this means I have to transfer my blog to wordpress.org which sounds like a hassle and costs more money.
Any suggestions will be very much appreciated!! Thanks in advance...

You can also create HTML tables if you prefer. No matter which one you choose it's not a one time deal. It's a code every post in the HTML ie. Text editor situation unless you choose to purchase a theme that is designed to display content in columns. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/Duet/
