Header Color

    HI!
    I'm new to this and trying to learn. Does anyone know how to change the header font color? I know it's simple but I've been trying different things for a while now and can't figure it out. Thanks

    The blog I need help with is allisonamiller.wordpress.com.

  2. We can't answer any questions without a link to your blog, starting with http. It's a good idea to read and follow the tips here to get the most out of the forum:

  3. Sorry about that. I've read through the tips in that link, as well as a bunch of editing tips within CCS. I have tried to do what it says, but still: no success. All I really want to do is change the title that says "Allison is." to teal or purple. I really would like to know how to change colors of everything for future posts/editing.

    Here's a link to my blog:

    Can you help? Thanks!

  4. Thanks for posting the URL to the blog in question. Here's the situation. The CSS upgrade is not recommended to those who have no CSS editing experience because there is no Staff support for learning CSS. We have a volunteer who will drop in and help from time to time. Bottom line: you will have to wait until he logs in and locates this thread.

  5. Ok, gotcha.

  6. Try putting this in your CSS:

    #header h1 a {
          color: #7C2487; /* Replace the numbers with the RGB code of a color */
          text-decoration:none;
    }

    This is exactly what I wanted and it worked, I just didn't realize you had to pay to change the color. Dang. Thank you so much though.
