   Hi, how do I remove the word "Archive" from "Archive for November, 2012" in the header text bar, please ?

   I don't see that on the blog linked to your username. Please post an active link starting with http:// to the exact blog in question.

   The Archives in your sidebar is a default sidebar display. To get rid of it go here > Appearance > Widgets and choose the widgets you want to display, open each one and install them one at a time. That will over-ride the default display. To make selections read about each widget by clicking the links here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/category/widgets-sidebars/
