Headings for Home Page thumbnails don't appear

  1. The website I work on is using the WordPress engine. It's at http://www.audiotechnology.com.au The thumbnails for the Featured Image on the Home Page should have a heading above each one superimposed on a black/grey "band" across the top of the picture. In Firefox, etc it appears no problem, but in IE8 (Windows here, not Mac) only the "bands" created by the website theme are there without the text showing. It's probably an issue with IE8, but is there a way I can tweak my WordPress settings to force IE8 to display these headings? Thousands of people visit this site every week and potentially hundreds of them have identical IE8 setups to mine and therefore don't see these headings. I've got screenshots of Firefox and IE8 to show the problem, but I can't see a means of attaching a file here.

  2. You are posting to thw rong support forum. We can't help you here with that site as it's not being hosted by WordPress.com. You need to post here > http://wordpress.org/support/
    For clarity read > WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  3. Cheers, thanks Timethief
