Stumbleupon is like that. Generally when I get something that's gone viral I try to get a good post up again immediately, because lots of those readers will then click to your homepage and see what you've got at the top. If it's the same post they just read, you've missed a chance to convert them to regular readers. If you put something good up, you'll generally find that ten percent of them stick around.
Hmmm. ..dang. That felt like a one-shot deal when I wrote it. Took me three days of stewing and catharting to bang it out. I don't know if I have it in me to suffer that way just to get another good post.

(I once met a poster on the internet, British roadie/ sound or something guy who worked with him. . .after the whole name change thing. .said he had become insufferable and tyrannical with fame! That was probably some criminal chick in a catsuit trying to pass herself off as Julie Newmar though. :)
