Heartbreak Hotel and Seven Hundred Plus Views Today!

  1. Can I just say I am surprised and delighted beyond belief? I know it could be a fluke sometimes, but most are from Stumbleupon!

Very schneaky way to process some old hurt and show the love to everyone else who'd dealing with it too. (Lots apparently like a message in a bottle from Sting!)

The blog I need help with is tessf.com.

  2. I'm looking forward to the video. 701 bloggers can't be wrong. Seriously, do you have a fan club? I've got cute ears.

  3. I know I should be slapped for that one, but it was a hard week. Flu and misery and a hundred other things making me cry.

    You have cute ears? Kickass!

  4. They are already plunging back downward if that makes it better now. :P

  5. *stats, i mean.

  6. Stumbleupon is like that. Generally when I get something that's gone viral I try to get a good post up again immediately, because lots of those readers will then click to your homepage and see what you've got at the top. If it's the same post they just read, you've missed a chance to convert them to regular readers. If you put something good up, you'll generally find that ten percent of them stick around.

  7. Hmmm. ..dang. That felt like a one-shot deal when I wrote it. Took me three days of stewing and catharting to bang it out. I don't know if I have it in me to suffer that way just to get another good post.

    I am tired now. :)

Thanks for weighing in. I appreciate it.

  8. When in doubt: cat pictures. The internet loves cat pictures.

  9. When the internet isn't looking for pussies, that is.

  10. That was for Raincoster! Sorry to Tess.

Well done and Raincoaster's advice is spot on.

  11. Brilliant idea, RC!
Who doesn't love a great tunester from the seventies anyway?

(I once met a poster on the internet, British roadie/ sound or something guy who worked with him. . .after the whole name change thing. .said he had become insufferable and tyrannical with fame! That was probably some criminal chick in a catsuit trying to pass herself off as Julie Newmar though. :)

    (Thanks TO!)
