Hello! Another shamless blog plug.

    In these days when so many bloggers are starting new blogs every day, and where the majority of the blogs started are no longer in existence 6 months after their creation date, it's wise to develop a concise blog description for blog promotional purposes.

    A blog description includes answers to these questions:
    (1) What niche is your blog in?
    (2) Which audience is your blog aimed at?
    (3) What are the primary keywords and tags for your blog?
    (4) What sets your blog apart from other blogs in the same niche?

    After your develop a blog description and post it into this thread, I'll be glad to visit your blog and give you some feedback on how to improve it.

    Hi timethief - I'm a bit unclear about 'blog descriptions for blog promotional purposes'. Once I have developed a blog description, is there a specific place where it should be entered? In other words, I'm not sure if I've missed some key step in setting up my blog, as I don't think I have a blog description, and if I did have one, I wouldn't know what to do with it. Thanks. x

    Um, sure, here you go:

    1: Blog niche: the nice of me blogging about any and everything. It will have pictures and such of my travels and what not, and some videos from my youtube channel.
    2: Audience: The audience who choses to read it. :)
    3: Keywords: I haven't thought of that yet.
    4: What sets it apart? About the same things that sets a blog apart from anyone else's. I'm sure yours is probably geared to some sort of audience, using some sort of keywords, filling some sort of niche. Everyone has something to bring to the table. I'm definitely not looking to become famous, or to garner some sort of attention, if that's what you're looking for.
