Help Embedding CirvaVie

I’m trying to embed a CircaVie timeline, but the code just disappears when I put it into the code tab. The embed seems to work with wordpress, but I can’t figure out how to make it work on wordpress.com

“Embed” is the keyword. Most of the time when something says “for WordPress” they mean independently-hosted WordPress. When they mean WordPress.com, they say it specifically. Embeds, Flash, javascript, etc, are all stripped out here for security reasons because we share the backbones of our blogs and a security risk introduced by one person would affect all of the bloggers using that theme.
If they have an HTML-only version of the code, you can use that. Basically, our widgets are limited to those which are non-dynamic. For timelines, use Tickerfactory.com or similar.

So are there embeds which are vetted and permitted which aren’t html based?

A few, like YouTube, etc. The FAQ has the full list. Now that I look at it, that really IS a nice feature; you might want to contact staff and ask them to consider approving it, because it seems high-quality and the kind of thing that would encourage loyalty here for personal bloggers.

Wait till Monday between 9-4 PST and use the Support button on your dashboard. That’s the best way.
