Okay, I have my template up http://www.theassistant.wordpress.com and have 3 things posted, but I really am baffled on rss feeds, tags, etc... What do I have to do to maximize my exposure? Is there somewhere that I can read about these things? Also, I didn't do a page, should I have? I really need a wordpress for dummies :) Any help would be appreciated! Also, I understand how to get the widgets on the sidebar, but am not sure what they all are. Help!!!!

You can leave your web address when you comment relevantly elsewhere, when you email, when you subscribe to anything. It will happen slowly but surely if you maintain your presence.
Do a page? Entirely up to you :) If you don't think it's useful right now then don't do it.
Browse the top blog links, browse the forum and follow links to other blogs, check them out, see what appeals to you.
Just don't worry - this blogging thing is meant to be enjoyable :)
