HELP, It wont let me change my custom structure permalinks

    Hi, When I go to Settings>>Permalinks>> Then click on the "custom structure" check box, WordPress will highlight the custom structure check box, and a popup warning comes up saying that I need to activate the permalink plugin or ignore the popup window. I do all ready have the permalink plugin active, but the problem is that it will not let me actually enter in a new custom structure in the white box.
    I am using a mac on snow leopard, and have the most recent version of wordpress running.
    Any help is greatly appreciated

    the blog I am having issues with is actually a yahoo hosted wordpress blog and its not from this wordpress login.

    The only blogger we provide support for on those wordpress.com forum are those who have free hosted wordpress.com blogs. We wordpress.com bloggers cannot change our permalink structure at all. wordpress.org bloggers can do that on their software which is different from ours.

    Please read the sticky post at the head of the forum and understand that we cannot help you here at all and proceed to post to the correct forum for your software.
