   Hi there. I've had 4 months of pretty trouble free blogging and have some loyal followers. In the last week, two of them have told me that they were having trouble linking to my posts through their email subscriptions. They both said that or not they clicked enable links and show images they get a lavender screen with the word WordPress on it at the bottom and nothing else.

   I've checked other folk's subscriptions, checked to make sure that all my settings are the same, checked links from Facebook and LinkedIn (which work fine for me and them), checked my settings on GoDaddy to make sure that nothing has changed there, and I can't figure out what could be wrong. It's frustrating for them and for me, and I'm down to suggesting that they unsubscribe and resubscribe and see if it clears up, but none of us wants to do that for lots of reasons. Can you help??? Please????

   The blog linked to your username is a free blog from and being free hosted by WordPress.com. If you have a blog being hosted by g-daddy then it cannot have WordPress.com subscriptions on it. It will be a WordPress.org install and we cannot help you with it on this forum. Please clarify exactly which blog you are referring to by posting the URL for the blog in question starting with http://

   I'm sorry for the confusion, but my blog is hosted by WordPress.com and uses a domain name from GoDaddy. When I first paid to use my domain name without wordpress in it, I had some issues with GoDaddy accepting that WordPress was hosting the blog...that's why I checked there, because one time in the very beginning the domain name reverted to them of it's own accord. This didn't seem like the same issue at all, but I was checking everything I could think of. My blog is http://www.bitsandbreadcrumbs.com, hosted by WordPress.

   Thanks for answering. I have flagged this thread for Staff attention. Please be patient while waiting for them to get back to you. What may be helpful for them to know is which email clients these readers are using, and which browsers and version of them they are using.

   where someone mentioned the same problem. I'll try and find out this info, but have to say that it's been a hassle for them so far with us emailing back and forth trying to find out what was wrong. They may just be "over it" by now. But I'll post back if I can get an answer. Thanks!

   Hi again, I found out that one of my subscribers is using AOL as an email client and AOL 9,6 as a browser. The other one uses AT&T as an email client and the latest version of Explorer for a browser. They are both on PC's.

   I am trying to be patient, but have had no response so far on this matter. My subscribers have missed two posts already. It's a real bummer.

   Just a note to say that both my email subscribers that were having the issue have emailed that they got the latest post today with no problems, so perhaps this is fixed? Thanks!
