Help! Migrating wordpress.com blog over self-hosted site

    I am planning to migrate my WordPress.com blog over a self-hosted site.

    Along with the content (posts, pages, media, comments, etc.), I would like to keep my email subscribers.

    I also need to transfer the domain name (alessandradipietro.it) that is currently mapping my blog (godete.wordpress.com) to the new website.

    Would it suffice to follow the instructions in http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/, or there is any particular advice I should take into account before moving?
