Exactly which lines are you referring to please? You will get double spacing between paragraphs in every theme here of which I’m aware. To get single spacing hold the SHIFT key down when you click ENTER at the end of the paragraph.

Instead of pressing return/enter by itself, press shift + return/enter and that will give you a standard line break instead of a paragraph break.
