I am completely new to CSS and blogging in general, and I can't seem to figure out the correct code to move my tagline onto a line of its own. It is currently showing immediately following the site title and then wrapping. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

You can chnage your Blog Title and/or the optional Tagline (which are both coded to be on separate lines) at any time on this page > Settings > General
Thank you for your quick response. I am not trying to change the wording. I am trying to get the tagline on a separate line from the site title. If you look at my blog (www.oursliceofheaven.com) you will notice that they are actually not on separate lines and I have not modified any of the original coding for the Chateau Theme. So... unless I am mistaken (which I very well could be) the original coding has them on the same line. I can't figure out what part to change in the coding to make them on separate lines.
I don't help with CSS editing and I'm sorry if I led you off the path. There is Staff support for this upgrade and another Volunteer may be able to help so please hang in there.

It would require the Custom Design Upgrade and then the following CSS would make the tagline a separate line below the title

This support forum is only for those who have free hosted WordPress.com blogs that they have purchased a CSS upgrade for. CSS editing is theme specific and the versions of themes we have at WordPress.com are not the same as the WordPress.org versions of the theme.
If and only if you are referring to a free hosted WordPress.com blog wearing the Chateau theme that you have purchased a custom design upgrade for then please post an active link to the blog in question. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
