Hemingway theme post layout question - CSS or HTML?

  1. Hey folks,
I'm relatively new to CSS and HTML and I was wondering how I might go about achieving my blog post layout goal. In a typical blog post (for example, http://mjparaguay.wordpress.com/2010/08/14/finding-dignity-amidst-destitution/), there are 2 columns. From perusing the CSS, the secondary column in the one on the left and includes "About this entry" information. The primary column includes the actual post text.

What I want to do is get the primary post text to wrap around the "About this entry" table so that, for all practical purposes, my blog posts are full page, with the "About this entry" acting as an overlay with a left-alignment.

Is this possible to achieve through CSS or would I have to work with the HTML of the page? If it is HTML, can I do that on a WordPress.COM blog, or would I have to migrate to a completely customized platform hosted by WordPress.ORG?

Any help or tips would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Mike

The blog I need help with is mjparaguay.wordpress.com.

  2. I don't think this is possible with CSS, if it is I'd love to know how. Altering the underlying code is not possible on wordpress.COM unfortunately.
