I just recently bought Debut's theme via wordpress.com. Everything worked fine for us except for the Hero Slider and the feature page for our homepage which I just can't seem to make it work. Please help. Any suggestions is much appreciated. Thank you.

Debut is a premium theme and we Volunteers answering questions on this forum have no knowledge of how they are designed to operate. When you purchased your premium theme what came with that purchase was support directly from the theme designer in the Premium Theme Support Forum. There is a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard
The hero slider refers to the large slider on the Home Page Template. The Debut theme description inlcudes a link to a page on the slider http://debutdemo.wordpress.com/2012/01/12/theme-options/#options-hero If those instructions are not helpful then posting to the Premium Themes Forum is where to get help.
