Hide date and hide author: Oxygen

    Is there a way to hide the date and author in the Oxygen theme?

    I'm using all static pages to kluge together a mobile-friendly website -- it looks pretty good, and much better than my old website did, but I'd really like it to look as un-bloggy as possible.

    THere is no way to hide the date and author without pourchasing a custom desigh pugrade and doing the required CSS editing. However, I'm not sure it can be done with CSS editing. I'm flagging this thread and it will be moved to the CSS Forum where you can get an answer to your question.

    To hide the date and author in the Oxygen theme using CSS, add this to the Appearance → Custom Design → CSS page:

    .entry-meta .entry-date,
.entry-meta .byline,
.entry-meta .sep {
	display: none !important;
}

    Thank you very much.

    (As I've not "graduated" to tweaking the custom design quite yet myself, I merely disabled the ipad version, which was the only place I saw it showing...)

    working on removing author, date, from oxygen theme as well. Can't get this code above to work. Help?

    The site linked to your username is not a WordPress.com blog. If you are reaferring to a WordPress.com hosted blog that is wearing the WordPress.com version of the Oxygen theme and you have purchased a custom design upgrade for that blog, then please post an active link starting with http:// to it.
