Hide Tag in Responsive theme; Create a floating share bar (like digg digg)

  1. 1. I want to hide the tags at the end of every post. I want to keep them effective, but I dont want to display them after every post. I think it is annoying and creates a huge gap between posts. However, I would like to keep the "Posted In" active. I only want to HIDE the tag (not remove it, as I understand that it helps in search engines).

    2. Can you please help me on how to write codes for a floating vertical share bar with facebook, twitter and other links on it for easy social networking? e.g. like digg digg plugin for wordpress.org users?

    Thank you.

I am using "Responsive" theme in wordpress.com

I purchased Custom Design for 30 dollars, and would appreciate a guidance into CSS. I don't have any idea about it. Please help.

  2. Note there are only a couple of Volunteers who choose to help with CSS editing and at present I don't see them logged in and answering CSS forum questions. Please be patient while waiting knowing that all CSS editing is theme specific.

For Firefox, install Firebug. http://getfirebug.com/ For Internet Explorer, install the Developer Toolbar. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=95E06CBE-4940-4218-B75D-B8856FCED535&displaylang=en

I'm sorry but something like that cannot be added using CSS only. CSS is for styling the appearance of elements that are already on the page, it cannot be used to add functionality like a sharing bar.

There are sharing links built in to WordPress.com in case that helps:
