I would like to change the url for my blog from "edvisits".wordpress.com to "educationalvisits".wordpress.com. I have already registered "educationalvisits" with wordpress.com. Reason I would like to make the change is that the second version is a little more meaningful. In doing this I would likje everything else about the blog to remain the same (content, media files, settings, followers etc). Any help much appreciated.

Since you already have both blog addresses, you can follow these steps to move your content from one WordPress.com blog to another.
There isn't a way to move settings, widgets, or custom menus. My best suggestion is to have two browser tabs open—one for each blog dashboard—and "copy" those by hand.
We can move the followers from edvisits.wordpress.com -> educationalvisits.wordpress.com from our end, and this action cannot be undone.
Can you confirm that you'd like us to move those followers?
