I created a custom menu widget called Past Adventures, but for some reason it contains a link to the home page. I did make sure I hadn't checked that the home page be included in the widget, so it doesn't make sense that it would be there (to me). Can I get rid of it?

The blog I need help with is biketrashholiday.com.
Confirmed: shows up automatically in Bueno, although not included in the custom menu you have selected. Report it to staff:

In the meantime you can remove the widget, copy the URLs of those pages, go to Links in your dashboard sidebar, turn "Past Adventures" into a link category and add your pages as links filed under that category.
