home page help

  1. I am using Misty Look for my nightingaleacupuncture.com site. The 'home' page does not show up in my pages list, nor does it show up in my parent pages. This is leaving my static page 'welcome' and my home page 'home' as being the same page in my top bar. I don't care if it's called welcome or home but how do I manage it to be just one? How can I manage the 'home' page when it won't show up in my pages? Thanks.

The blog I need help with is nightingaleacupuncture.wordpress.com.

  2. It's not meant to show up in static pages as it's not an actual page. It's only a Home tab and when any visitor is on any page on your blog they click that link to return to the front page of the blog. That tab is hard-coded into the default menu of the theme and you cannot edit or remove it. Your solution is to create a custom menu and include only the pages you want to include in it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
